The type 803 blade mill is used to shred materials such as rubber, plastic and other materials which are not fragile and which, due to their nature, cannot be crushed under impact.
The blade mill works on the principle of grinding by cutting; the product size is achieved by a perforated plate screen, which is easily replaceable.
Crushed product is discharged by gravity.
On entering the machine the product is cut by rotating blades, which are meshed with counter-blades fixed to the body very close to the rotating blades, thus allowing tolerances to be maintained despite wear. It is possible to increase the rotor inertia by proper additional flywheel, in case an impact energy increase is required.
